QueryProxy

Privacy policy

Updated:

This policy covers the website queryproxy.com, operated by Tignex (“we”). Questions about anything on this page: [email protected].

The short version

This is a static website. It sets no cookies, has no accounts, no forms and no advertising or tracking scripts. It uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a service that, according to Cloudflare, does not use cookies or other client-side state and does not fingerprint individuals for the purpose of displaying analytics. We do not collect, store or share any other personal data about visitors, apart from what you choose to send us by e-mail.

Data collected

On your device. One thing: your theme preference (light/dark), kept in your browser’s localStorage if you use the theme toggle. It never leaves your device and is not a cookie. See the cookie policy for details.

By e-mail. If you write to [email protected], we receive your address and whatever you send.

By the host. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard technical request data (such as IP addresses and request headers) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We do not use that data to identify visitors.

By Cloudflare Web Analytics. A small script reports each page view, and page-load events, to Cloudflare so we can see aggregate usage of the site. Cloudflare states that this service does not use cookies or localStorage to collect usage metrics and does not fingerprint individuals through their IP address, user agent or other data for the purpose of displaying analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics). We do not use it to identify visitors.

Why it is collected

E-mail is used only to answer you; we do not add you to any list. The theme preference exists only to remember your choice of light or dark. Cloudflare processes request data to deliver the site and keep it secure, and Cloudflare Web Analytics gives us aggregate figures about how the site is used.

Third parties and processors

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes request data under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Cloudflare is also the provider of the Web Analytics service described above. Pages here also link to external services — primarily GitHub, where the QueryProxy source code, issue tracker and security policy live. Once you follow such a link, the destination’s own privacy policy applies.

Retention

We keep no visitor data on the server side. E-mails are kept until the correspondence is finished, or for a reasonable period afterwards, and are then deleted. The theme preference stays in your browser until you clear it or switch the theme toggle back to “system”. Logs held by Cloudflare are subject to Cloudflare’s own policy, linked above.

The QueryProxy application

This policy covers this website only. The QueryProxy application is self-hosted software: when your team runs it, all of its data — connections, queries, results, audit logs — lives on your own infrastructure and never reaches us. The privacy posture of a QueryProxy installation is determined by the organization operating it.

Your rights and how to exercise them

Under data-protection laws such as the GDPR and Türkiye’s KVKK you have rights over personal data concerning you — access, correction, deletion among them. Apart from the e-mail you choose to send us, we collect no personal data ourselves; the technical request data and analytics described above are handled by Cloudflare. If you have written to us, or believe we hold other data about you, write to [email protected] and we will respond.
